Fun Transit is the layover transit service that understands that many travelers feel so bored to spend hours in the airport terminal. With Fun Transit, you can maximize your time with peace of mind and give your itinerary an unexpected boost by using that time to hit the city you’re in and shop, sightsee, or taste some local food with a transit tour.
Local guides bring a wealth of knowledge and insider tips that can enhance your layover experience. They can take you to hidden gems, recommend the best local eateries, and provide historical and cultural context that you might miss when exploring on your own. This enriched experience adds depth to your short visit, making it more memorable and worthwhile.
Traveling can be stressful, and the added pressure of planning a layover tour can detract from your overall experience. By booking with a reputable local guide, you can alleviate the stress associated with logistics, allowing you to fully enjoy your time in the city. These professionals handle all the details, from transportation to entry tickets, so you can relax and immerse yourself in the new surroundings.
While a transit tour might seem like a cost-effective option, the peace of mind that comes from having everything taken care of is invaluable. Knowing that a knowledgeable guide is managing the schedule and keeping track of time allows you to enjoy the adventure without the constant worry of missing your connecting flight.
The convenience, expert insights, and stress-free experience provided by a reputable guide can turn your layover into an unforgettable mini-vacation with a lower budget. For example :

U.S. citizens or foreign nationals of Visa Exemption countries and regions are not required to obtain a visa for transit purposes (See “the list of visa exemption countries and regions”).
For nationals of non-visa exemption countries and regions, please contact your airline(s) to confirm whether or not you will go through the Customs and Immigration area at the transferring airport. If you will, then you most likely need a transit visa. If not, then you do not need a transit visa.
The Embassy may require you to obtain a short-term visa instead of a transit visa depending on your purpose to visit Japan. (You MUST apply for a short-term visit visa if you visit your family or friends in Japan even if your stay is less than 24 hours.)
